I cannot believe 2011 has flown by. I have been busy personally working on my doctorate this year. I fly to San Francisco for 4 days month and learn from some of the best acupuncturists in America. It has been terrific information that has improved my ability to treat patients.
I have been able to treat a man these last few months with an extreme case of Chronic Fatigue. It has been interesting and rewarding watching him return to a fuller life and better energy. The trick has been incorporating more moxa in his treatments. His sleep cycles have returned to normal which has effectively helped his energy during the day. Acupuncture has changed another life for the better, which in turn has impacted many other live.
Depression has been another area that acupuncture has been useful to help. A new study came out this year in March showing positive results from acupuncture when treating depression with out the side effects of drugs. It usually takes about 4-6 treatments over 2-3 weeks to notice a big difference but the transformation is remarkable.
October fertility treatment have been successful. All the women whom were doing IVF and using acupuncture this month became pregnant. Congratulations to all of you, what a fabulous outcome. 9 months to welcome 6 more babies!!
Pain Management this year has enjoyable since I have learned many new techniques. I have a patient with Rheumatoid arthritis that is experiencing some freedom from her pain for the first time in months. I have been able to improve mobility and decrease pain for a women with a shoulder injury that had been doing therapies for 1 1/2 years with out much improvement. Acupuncture is welcome for a return to wellness.
